Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think we would be very arrogant to think that we are the only beings in this or any other galaxy. Taking a look at our world think of how many species of life are on just this one planet. There are infinite possibilities on the other planets in this galaxy.
I think that SETI is a great program and could help make contact with other beings that could change the face of our world, and open our minds to new possibilities.
I use Seti because it gives me the feeling that I’m helping in something that is bigger than I am. That my computer when its idle is still doing something constructive with all those wasted clock cycles. I think distributed processing is the best thing that anyone ever thought of.
