| Although I'm fifty-one chronologically, I still try to view the world with the eyes of a five year old. I grew up in a home where I could watch every lift-off from Cape Kennedy from my bedroom window. And ... my spirit was on board with each and every payload or crew for the trip into space. Each mission helped to shape my life, my career (electronics), and my view of the universe ... Which, I am quite sure, includes life on as grand a scale as any other discernable astronomical phenomena we have observed thusfar. |
