My name is Steve and ka4iqd is my ham radio call sign. I was born in 1960 so you can figure out my current age whenever you happen to read this. I spent most of my life in Louisville, Ky but have lived in a small town in Ohio named Somerset since 1997.
My hobbies are ham radio, building/modifying computers and gaming on them, and photography, check out ka4iqd.smugmug.com for more on the last including pictures of me.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
My thoughts on seti@home? I think it's fantastic. I believe there has to be someone other than just us out there and would love to help find them. Being able to contribute to this effort is great.
I recently ran across team Carl Sagan by complete accident and switched over to help out the cause. What better than to possibly find an extraterrestrial intelligence while hunting in the name of the late great astronomer and seti advocate?
In any case, I'm glad to be part of the world wide seti@home community and hopefully we can make a major impact on human history. |
