| Personal background |
I was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1955 few days before Albert Einstein died (if you want to know my birthday, it was exactly 2 days before). I'm then 51 years old now, in August 2006. I work since 1974 with computers as analyst/programmer. The first computer I used was an IBM 1430, with no monitor, just a keyboard and printer for the IPL and JCL tasks, one card reader device and one card writer device (IBM 29?). Don't ask me about the RAM capacity, I just remember this disk capacity: 100,000 bytes. That's all! My current personal computer has 128GB so 137,438,953,472 bytes. It is a long, long, long history!
