Currently an electrical engineering student at RIT. I love working with computers and have switched all of my computers over to Linux machines during summer of 2007. I switched to Linux and haven't looked back.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home more out of interest in the technical end of the software and hardware being used in the project (after calculating many FFT's by hand, its nice to see my computer do it for me). Personally, I do not think SETI@home will find anything relating to alien life, but there is always a possibility of discovering something interesting.
