Personal background
Hi, I'm 22. I love the stars and wish I could explore them. For some strange resaon I am very drawn to them and want to go to them. I've been this way for longer than I can remember. I would be first in line to go on a space ship even if it was a one-way trip. I love Math and Science, they where always my favorite subjects in school. I love computers. I have graduated twice from college in the computer field. I would rather design, build, and maintain computers, but any thing about computers interest me. I like watching movies, TV, Hanging out with friends, Surfing the net, playing games, listening to music, fooling around on the computer, designing computers and see how much I could build it for, cars, motorcycles, the outdoors, camping, and horse back riding. I'm not sure what else to put maybe I'll add or change this latter
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do belive life exists out side our punny insugnigagent planet. Yes, more than like the majority of is single cell or bacterial. But, if we are the only intellagent life WHAT A WASTE OF SPACE. Do you know how long it would take us to fill it? The univers would more than likely be dead or dying first. Weather we subit a intended singla or not is a tough call. We really don't want to draw attention to our selfs if thee nearst nabeir is hostile, but on the same hand we have unitentialy be transmitting for some time now. If we where to brodcast a signal; It waould have to be 360 degrees 3d. And it would have to be MATHMATICLY & SCIENCE based. In other words it would have to be in a universasl launge. N 0=N True or N*0=0 True, N 0=Y False or N*0=Y False. This is how we would show them how to understand what we where saying.
I run Seti@home on my computer because I belive in what the prodject was doing. I just wish computer technology was at a place where we could search the entier spectum for signals. That is my veiw on the prodject and one of my sugfestions. I allso think it should be an on going project. Scan the scy a million times. technology is going to get better and we would be able to look for more, use highr resolutions, do a more therough job, or maybe they are trying to contact us but there signal wont be here for 2-10 years, DO WE WANT TO MISS IT? I don't.
