I have been into PC technology since the early 90's. I am in the Orange County area. I am 3 years of age and as Irish as you can probably get with being full blooded and raised there. I do work and enjoy Ren. Faire where I particpate as an Irish knight of the Spanish Court. Other funn things is book, tarot cards and sprituality.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think I would have to be naive to belief that we are the only intelligent life.
I can only hope that we can connect with an more advanced alien culture that might humble our leaders and head off the many "BIG" problems that our way of life is developing for our future. I think a beacon is a great idea. It hink it should be brief yet give them an obvious real picture of where our culture and difference stand.
I run SETI@home because I would like for us to find solutions to the crisis's that are to come, and I can only see the answers as coming from either space or the spiritual realm with enough impact and strength to turn our world around. By running SETI, I am doing what I can to help on the space aspect of things and being the best me in all sense to help with the spiritual.
