This is Carlsson and actually there is no reason to bore you with my personal details. So I'll not go too much into detail.
Well I am from East Germany and somewhere in my twenties.
Being an electrical enginnering student is not always easy especially since my course is finally coming to an end. There is the threat of a job coming up my way and I cannot avoid it ;o)
My computers are:
-Celeron 366@550 MHz (running almost all the time) 10,5hrs/WU
-Dual PentiumII 333MHz (running occasionally as well) 20hrs/WU
-Pentium MMX 150 MHz (with around 70hrs/WU almost too slow for number crunching but sometimes useful)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Since everything is already said about that topic on these pages there is no need to discuss anythiung further.
SETI@home is for me also some kind of competition about crunching workunits.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
