I am 44 years old, I am a service Delivery Manager for a software implementor of Helpdesk applications. I am a licensed amateur radio operation, I enjoy ten pin bowling, keeping tropical fish (have two tanks nothing over the top), overclocking computers, astronomy (when the haze isn't too much, or the city lights kill the view), reading, a spot of gardening and listening to good music. I live in Sydney Australia.
I have been running Seti@home for a number of years (since early 2000) and think this is a good use of my idle processor time. I think it would be pretty cool to discover alien life in a far distant galaxy. The project is a real stab in the dark for which a lot of listening needs to be done over and over again. |
