| I'm originally from Helsingborg in Sweden. But I currently live in Växjö also that in Sweden. I'm currently a teacher trainee. I'm going to be a elementary school teacher or as we say in Sweden, Grundskolelärare. My primary hobby is to collect on different Star Trek things, like the series, books, toys and many other things. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

SETI and SETI@home is the most important thing for mankind in later years. If there are other life in the universe, I think the SETI@home-project will find it.
Sure there are possible dangers with contacting extraterrestrial lifeforms, but I think the benefits will be even bigger.
As it is today, we are already sending out transmissions such as TV- and radiosignals. But if we where to send out a signal that we can control it should probably contain information about our cultures, languages and who we are.
I run SETI@home because I want to help in the effort to find extraterrestrial life. |
