Some of my favorite hobbies and past times are computing, stargazing, reading, cuisine, mixology, movies, TV, music and art. I currently reside in Vancouver, British Columbia and I am single. | Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I most definitely believe that extraterrestrial life exists. Are we so egomanical to believe we are the only living beings in the Universe? Who knows when we will discover life elsewhere, but when we do it is going to change humankind forever. Life is full of risks and benefits, if we don't take a chance we will never know.
Transmit something. We have the opportunity to do a great thing and extend our reach beyond the confines of our wonderful blue planet, and I hope that one day what we tramsit will encourage others to come and visit and maybe even stay.
I run SETI@home because it is fun and a great conversation piece at some of my parties. But mostly I want to do my little part and lend my computers downtime for the benefit of SETI and mankind. A little philanthropy never hurt anybody. =)
