99Slammin' computer keyboard while making my first three years of my computer science masters' studies was the biggest gig for me. During my last two years I came through metamorphosis and now I slam the drums. Surely, I still spend my time in front of the computer, but now I think I am more open-minded.

99That's how I got to running seti@HOME on my Debian/GNU Linux. I realized that my computer set is not a middle of the universe, but maybe it will help to find one (now the definition of the middle of the universe follows ;).

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

99Maybe some of us who are called psychos are having a link with extraterrestrial life. Maybe it was discovered by some people with 6th sense long time ago and now it waits for a name of a strong person who will convince the humanity of its existence.

99I like the idea that was presented in KPAX. We are just ants that noone around will benefit from harming. The universe is so big, that everyone will find his/her place. Taking into acount parallel universes, the is even more time-space.

99Humanity was alway curious, and so am I. That's why we should send some signals to space. Lately I think that music is the most portable language. So this is what we should send.

99My curiosity is focused on distributed systems. That is my main reason to run seti@HOME. I like the way the development phase is going: to be more open.

99I would like to give you a panaceum for system security, so that none of the processor cycles are wasted for multiple sample analysis. But currently I don't know any. Maybe I will know more after writing my master's thesis: Security in Distributed Systems.
