I'm a 33 yrs old Network Engineer from Queens, NY. When I was a small boy I use to look out of my apartment window in Manhattan and wonder if we were all alone in this universe. I use to read every book I could find on Astronomy. I loved Star Trek but would never consider myself a "trekkie". The idea of traveling to different worlds always appealed to me. I do as much traveling as possible in my current job because it gives me a chance to experience our own world.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe extraterrestrial life exists. However, I do not believe we will discover it in my lifetime. I believe there are possible risk involved with such a discovery but the benefits could be great. If it wasn't for the risk taken by Madam Currie and the Wright brothers we don't know where we would be today.
