Thoughts:
I guess one of the most important things is to have fun while not getting to down about work/money and life in general. I'm still single, and I am sort of introverted so I usually keep to a well established group of friends. My only regret is that I have yet to meet a woman with whom I can really connect with. My major problem with that is I've always been to shy to really look. (Hey look, this is turning into a single's add :)
Keep going with the good karma,
Later.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think extraterrestrial life has to exist, a problem may be whether we can communicate or detect them. A beacon would have pro's and con's, I think it should be done when colonization of this solar system begins in earnest.

I run this program because I usually do some file sharing, which does not use more than 10% of the cpu. I used to run the Cancer drug research one, but I lost my account (actually I lost my old seti account too) and was too lazy to restart that as well. Since I believe in et life, I believe this project has equal merit with many of the other shared computing programs that are running today.
