Hey!
My Name is Sarah. I´m 17 Years old and I come from Germany. My Hobbies are dancing, computers, cinema, my boyfriend and Sience Fiction.
After school, I´d like to study Biology (especially Virology).
Reasons why I love my life: music, sun, summer, love, romance, ice cream
(and some sweet guys like Tobey Maguire ;-) ).

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yeah, somewhere out there, there is life, I truely believe it. When we´ll discover it, nobody knows. Perhaps, they will discover US. The question is when... but the time will come.
The possible benefits: you can see it in "Star Trek". We can help us and live in peace and friendship together.
The dangers: Know "Alien"? ;-)
2. Why not. If there´s an intelligent species, somewhere, they´ll find us... with or without message, we send. What should we send... who we are and what we want (and I hope, that´s peace).
3. I run the program, because I believe, there is somewhere intelligence. And I hope we´ll find it one day.
And if not... there is a benefit for the science: we help you to do your work and check your datas. ;-) |
