Well I'm a Information Systems Graduate, I have quite a few PC at home which don't really do all that much so I thought I'll give this ago.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think ET is out there, I don't think we've been visted by ET yet. When will we find ET? could be tommorrow could be never. It would be nice to know for sure that we're not alone.
A beacon? I don't know might be inviting trouble. I'd prefer to know the receiptient before I give them my home address. So maybe enough info to let them know we exist but not a road map to earth?
I'm running SETI because I like the idea of donating my processor idle time to something worthwile.
