My name is Jürg Aebi living in Zurich (Switzerland).
Working in networking (terrestrial) ... well don't realy expect the seti-guys to talk in my mother tongue (IP), but expect them to be more intelligent than we are (shouldn't be a challenge).

1. Absolutely no idea. Would be a too big challenge to handle if they realy exist ... and both (we and they) would become aware. But the human kind is somehow committed to first find and then think ...
2. Well if they are further ahead in development, our active signals would just ease the encounter to happen earlier. The message of the beacon would not realy matter. The beamers content would just need to be detected as "source of intelligence".
3. Well i'm just eager to find out, like all of us. The idea of this distributed processing is great. All the PCs around the world can realy do more than just idle around... |
