The Clay Center Observatory at the Dexter and Southfield Schools is dedicated to furthering astronomical research and educational activities, day and night, and to imparting this knowledge through its programs, instructional activities, and publications. By day, the observatory provides students with opportunities to enrich their education through hands-on experiences in astronomy and science. At night, the professional-grade telescopes are used for scientific research and serve as a valuable resource for astronomers around the world.
The SETI@home project is a part of the curriculum in the summer Science and Technology Camp which is based in the Clay Center building. You may visit our website at www.claycenter.org.
