Profile: Jimi

Personal background
Hello I am Jimi the computer guy formerly known as Jimi the carpenter. Computers are my life, while my life is computers. I hoard computers while collecting them and give special thought to naming them. I was exposed to Seti by a friend that I compete with to see who does more on a per week basis. This addiction has expanded my knowledge of the computing world.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Moving on to ET, there has been speculation as to government involvement with ET. This we know. I commend Berkeley for its desire to explore and give life to new experiments.

If we do find ET or they find us the thing that comes to mind is, would they really want to associate with a violent species that seems intent on destruction without paying regard to consequences?
