Personal background
Hi all,

I am Lars, a science-loving coder, videoeditor and gamer from germany. My greatest passion (beside science) is the development of videogames. If you like, check out my (our) page www.catchingkobolds.com, where our first vr-gameis featured. Its about selling icecream in space ;)

Cheers
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I was already running SETI@home classic back in the days, but unfortunately lost contact. Through the shout out of SciManDan, I joined again and try to keep connected from now on!
I love this project and other projects of its kind. These are the best examples about the combined power of humankind. I only wish that more of us would see the importance of it and participate.

The team and competition idea is great. How about trying to get gamedeveloper into the mix to openly add the (optional) feature of seti@home into their games (presumably not that hardwarehungry games to leave power for seti). That way people can play while searching for E.T.. Even if its already possible to have seti working while playing something, it could be a way to promote the program and get more people to participate. Just thoughts from a nerd...
