Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I participate with the seti@home project in hopes to assisting with processing power and frequency monitoring and just being self aware that I aid in some fashion.

My views about the this project are as fallows: We can only try to reach out through radio astronomy as the universe in it's vastness, leaves little alternatives. Having heard of project Orion, project Daedalus, and project Bussard ramjet I have come to know even if these proposals were carried out, we will first need a way point to visit and of course given the extreme distances and the unlikely hood we will be in the final stages of launching such a project any time in the next several hundred years, project Seti appears to resemble a prelude to the exploration of a neighboring galaxy. And looks more promising than anything we currently are en devouring as a species. I fully support this project and feel privileged to be a part of it.

My suggestions for Seti are to create some merchandise such as apparel available for purchase allowing for better funding than just through donations. It would be fantastic so see a fellow enthusiast street side with a seti@home hat, tank top or t shirt!

Thank you for stopping by ~
