| Personal background |
I retired from a systems programming job in the federal government in August, 2004. All the workload had been consolidated off the mainframe computers, so they didn't need us old UNISYS guys anymore...fine with me, I was nearly 55 and glad to have more time to myself.
My main hobby is collecting and organizing classical CDs -- I have 7,500 of them and always adding to the collection. It's organized by a comprehensive Microsoft Access database which I spent a couple of years developing.
I also collect DVDs, but don't have nearly as many. I've got plenty of time to catch up on reading also. |
