I am a mechanic by profession. I also build and repair computer hardware in the small amount of spare time I have as a single parent of 2 children.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run seti@home because for one it is a great way to perform long term reliability tests on hardware and test different economical methods of heat management within the computers I build. You never know if this project will bear fruit however it most certainly will not if you never try. So the project is soon to be mothballed one must wonder if this is in any way related to the starlink project and the interference in radio astronomy that will most certainly result.
