Personal background
Hey. Another American millenial here. Rly deep Western roots, yada yada. Very open-minded culturally speaking. Studied physics, chem, and astro in college, but the degree part was beyond me. Maybe it was focus on my part, maybe something else. Maintain swimming pools for the whole living thing. Kinda hope the country doesn't implode, but that isn't really in my hands. Kind of hate that I was born in a toxic hot spot but I hate that no one wants to talk about it even more. Kind of angry about the whole Voyager mission thing. Anyone else think that it's kind of like opening a door that you've never opened, and chucking a constantly screaming alarm bell through it, and waiting for something really bad to happen? Maybe it's just me. I have new invention ideas, but Western culture doesn't seem to be enthused about it based on the simple fact that mass-production is incredibly difficult. Anyways, built this computer because I did something dumb and have much time on hand. Had a much weaker comp in college and helped out with SETI@home with that. Just remembered to come back to it. Hope this helps out.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Ambivalent about civil society, but I don't mind helping out with search of knowledge and the heavens.

Just....keep an eye on where the Voyager probes are (and similar probes). If we really have attracted some nasties, this is probably our earliest possible warning system. Cheerio.
