| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I don't know if extra-terrestrial life exists. Although I'm sure that if it does, it almost certainly wont be "little green men", it will be as different to us as seagulls are from hamsters (OK, bad choices perhaps, but I am pushed for time).
I am running SETI@home for a sensible reason, and a silly one.
The sensible reason is that if life exists, the chances of it being found one my computer may be remote, but by eliminating all the useless blocks of data, someone somewhere may stumble across something.The silly reason is that hopefully, I might get a bit of MTV or something reflected back off some freak mirror planet from years ago. Now wouldn't THAT be cool? No? OK... *sigh*
Again, enough of my waffling on, thats it for now.
