I'm a student and part-time worker from Argentina. I like read books (including novels, comics and mangas), watch anime and movies or surfing the net. I also like to collaborate with academic pages and participate in community projects that allow me to feel useful to the progress of humanity.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I had read in computer magazines in early 2000 about the SETI@Home project. Recently I was given to see the complete Cosmos series by Carl Sagan. This inspired me to register and try this platform.
Being able to be part of the SETI community, even if it is only lending a part of the capacity of my CPU, makes me feel that I'm making an important contribution to this project. At first I was thinking of joining the SETI Argentina group, but I decided to join Anime@Home as I'm a fan of japanese animation.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
