Personal background
Hey there! I was born in the late 1970s, have a degree in information technologies and have been working as a software developer and development lead for about 10 years.
When I'm not behind a computer, which is a rare occasion, you will likely find me in front of a TV playing video games. My aspiration at the moment is to become more persistent in my practice of mindful meditation. Also, I will soon start a Turkish language course since my husband originates from there.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I had already supported SETI@home in the early 2000s but later simply forgot about it. As I recently chose a picture from ESO telescope as background picture for my computer's desktop, I felt that longing again of doing more than just admiring the beauty of it all. Helping SETI somehow gives me the good feeling of being a - however small - part of one of mankind's greatest contemporary endeavors.
