Member of Winnipeg RASC, interested in astronomy (of course), weather, and nature in general.
Been an amateur radio hobbiest for many years, dabble in radio telescopy, and satellite comms.
I run a farm in Southern Manitoba, been doing this for 30+ years. Always have time for hobbies though! |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1) Seti has made some interesting discoveries, even if not "alien" oriented.
2) have a spare computer that runs during the witer months (many up north here) to help warm the basment. Might as well put those electrons to further use rather than just dump them into a heating element, and do some calculating and proccessing for some projects like this one.
3) I just help with what I can, no suggestions from me at this time. |
