| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run SETI@home because I want to contribute to our search for intelligence in the universe. I believe it is highly unlikely that we are alone.
I think this is a great project that allows anyone to contribute and feel like they are part of something big and exciting.
Suggestion - more fundamental information on the science of radio astronomy. Training modules and maybe even certification levels that would challenge and motivate volunteers to grow in knowledge and to help us know what the data is showing so we can better recognize important signals or patterns. |
