Personal background |
I am a Network Manager for a Fortune 5 Company and currently residing in the Spokane Washington area. I am a drone hobbyist with a love of the outdoors and being able to capture nature from a different perspective. Since the early 90's, I have been focused with the possibility of extraterrestrial life and space exploration in general. Being able to help define breakthroughs through the SETI project, allows me to do my part in exploring the universe. |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1: Why do I run SETI@home? A: I understand the importance of combing through data. The significance of being able to support a community of science to help distinguish the facts that we are not alone in this universe.
2: What are my views about this project? A: I believe that in order to understand, comprehend or acknowledge anything, you must first listen, actively. This project perfectly illustrates that concept.
3: Do I have any suggestions? A: It's been years since I have been participating in all of this, primarily due to life happening. However, I am back. One thing I would like to see revamped, is the project UI. It is aged and could offer much more detail then it currently does. Looks similar to what I recall from my experience in this project many years ago. |
