Hello from Earth; specifically, the cold Eastern part.
I'm into many science things; I listen to NPR, & I watch PBS (but not the fiction shows about England). I used to read Scientific American, but not Nature. As for nature, I think it's pretty neat, and enjoy the writings of Tom Brown Jr.
I'm very much into the work of the Meru Foundation (www.meru.org)! {This is probably a set of info that could be run through BOINC, I think.}
As for music I prefer Hard Rock & Metal; usually. And Futurama |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Why I run BOINC/SETI; I just figured I'd help out for awhile with something while my computer sits idly-by. And finding other corporal intelligences seemed like an interesting side-step from our ultimate goal of learning to value each other. I'd like to help with other projects as well, but have serious concerns about helping entities linking-up with armies & such.
Something I'd like to see from this is more real-time "readability," at least once in awhile. |
