| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
| I run SETI@home because I wish to assure myself that we are not the only intelligent-alone in the universe. This project has been running for a long time and should do so until we make contact. Although our communication channels may allow us to get in touch with only similar beings (who are also using radio signals), I believe that as we are maturing and becoming wiser life forms, our communication protocol also undergoes development to encompass a wider variety of intelligent life. |
