| Was both and raised in Wisconsin, but traveled around the world because of both mine and my wife's service in the US Army (mostly my wife). I've been an amateur radio operator for over 25 years now, and it is still a passion on mine. I have a wife and daughter. I am currently a Network and Server Administrator for a software company, and have been there for almost 19 years. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I used to run SETI @ home a long time ago, and for some reason I thought that it was no longer around. If memory serves, I had issues with the software running in the background (Windows 95 OS I believe), and just stopped running it. When I heard on an episode of StarTalk that it was still around, and 1.6 million users strong, I knew I had to join back up again. Adding the ability to join a group of fellow amateur radio operators made it that much more necessary. I hope my participation helps the project, even if it is just one PC. |
