Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why ?
.
With the almost limitless expanse of space, and the billions of planets that could, or perhaps should, be in it, I see it as preposterous to presume that only this one supports intelligent life.
.
It may not be life as we know it, or even friendly life, but I believe it exists, and the quest to know, to further our knowledge, to better ourselves, is what makes us human and drives us daily.
.
Albeit a small contribution, i'd like to think I helped out in the search.
