| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I recently started with SETI@home when I saw a banner on someone's website. I was interested, and not too much time later I joined the gang. I watched the screen downloading information from the satelite and processing (which takes over 16 hours) and I was totaly hypnotized.
The information I downloaded was over 7 months old, so we must find more and more participants to process data all over the world so that things can be straighten up.
I don't think there are 'aliens' out there, but I'm interested in the signals. These may come from anything, so they're never boring... |
