I live on Merritt Island Florida, five miles from the Kennedy Space Center. My wife has been an engineer in space related industry for 15 years. I love space stuff and have an ever abiding faith that communication with extraterrestial intelligence will soon be made through the efforts of SETI.
I'm retired military and enjoy my second career of writing. I've written a space related article entitled "The Asian Space Race" which can be found by searching my name, "Thomson" on the literary website www.partialobserver.com .
I currently have an online serial novel entitled, "The Publisher" at my website www.ThomsonTalks.com

When intelligent extraterrestial life is discovered the entire world will change. There will be disbelief, joy, horror, and a general questioning of long held belief systems. I have no doubt that humans will soon connect with intelligent extraterrestial life, if it hasn't happened already...I just want to be aware of it in my lifetime. SETI should go forward and the human race should support this endeavor.
