I'd like to start off by saying that we all are contributing to a common cause in searching for E.T. by using SETI@home. Even since I was a young boy I would just gaze up at the stars and wonder: "What if there is life out there also waiting to hear from us?" It is mind boggling to think in a universe made up of countless galaxies containing billions of stars each that we're just one unknown spec in the vaccuum we call space. I believe there is life everywhere, and that the technology needed to detect life elsewhere is just starting to evolve.
