I study Molecular Medicine at the University of Freiburg, Germany. At the same time i work as a First Level Supporter in the Computing Center of the University. There i have the opportunity to use computers i would dream of at home :-)
I was born in Rottweil, a small Black Forest Town you might know from the dogs (Rottweiler) or the famous "Fasnet".

I was always convinced and fascinated about the idea of grid computing. It is a great deal to participate in a project together with millions of other people. The Search for extraterrestrical Intelligence is important, in my opinion it would be very unlikely if we were alone out there. The universe is so huge - we WILL find a trace of life, surely.
