| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Why I run SETI? ... I run SETI@home in the hope of finding a smart alien race because 90% of people on our planet are complete IDIOTS. Or at least on the Gold Coast anyway.
2. Views on the Project? ... The software side looks ... a little aged to put it nicely. Obviously does it's job, but people probably want more then some pretty colours flashing to show them what it is doing.
3. Suggestions? SETI guys seriously need to revamp SETI@home. Add in some info on what it is doing, and how it calculates if something is a 'good signal' or not. I understand aliens should be the last conclusion we all jump to when a 'good signal' happens but for the love of god ... GET RID OF THE BLOODY RAINBOW!!! |
