Personal background
I'm 33 yrs of age, My occupation is a groom/excersize rider at the Woodbine Race Track. My hobbies include computer building and upgrading, horses, exploring the unknown such as reading about area 51 reports found on the web, watching sci-fi flicks and of course seeing if there is life ouside our own little galaxy with SETI@HOME program. My Seti@home is run on a AMD 1.333Ghz with a Hercules Prophet 4500xt w/64DDR ram, 512 DDR ram, 40 Gigs of hard drive, 16*DVD, 16/10/40 Plextor, and an ASUS A7V w/multiplier switches motherboard. My average Data Results are about 4 units per day average 5-6 hrs/unit. To my knowledge, I am certain that there is life other than us in this vast universe, if we are the only ones in the universe then "by god" we should get out there and populate the other worlds that could support human life, as so we could expand our population and create other jobs for people who need or that are qualified to do exploration of other planets. I would like to go and explore other worlds just so i could get off this rock we call earth, in a heart beat. There is so much we can do for the planetary societies, I say we " fellow computer users" that they could or should make freeware or shareware to help in finding signals or sounds or whatever you wish to search for available. Well take care and best of luck to all of us in our searches for E.T's.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
This is the best, for utilizing cpu time if the user is not on thier comp, and for a good cause. To find radio signals from outer space, would be a good enough reason for me to believe in other life.
