I'm Belinda - or Lindy to friends and family. Just started with the project. I'm a dreamer who lives science; slays maths; and will never stop looking for Ivy Wallace's characters in bluebell woods. :} This (released 29 years before I was born) is in my top ten.
Told I'm wired to fly with fuzzy logic, but chose a degree in Woodland Ecology and Conservation instead. Love my course, despise what previous generations have done and not leaving it to others to fix. Love animals too much <3 <3 <3 :}
Post graduation goal - conservation placement in Africa would be sweet!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Heard of seti from a link on facebook. Thought it was ace because I don't think ours is the only planet with life. More interested in the diversity of organisms that would co-exist with another "intelligent species" though. I'd like to know if they've done better than ours. That's what I'd ask ET if I could.
Been thinking about saying hi on the msg boards but I don't think newbies and students are very welcome. LOL! So I'll just stick to where I am appreciated for now.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
