Personal background
Hello
I am Andy Austin i am 50 years old and have been crunching numbers for SETI since 2000 ~ 2004 on dial up internet but then joined the navy and did not work for SETI but now i'm back and have a broadband connection and have 2 computers crunching numbers.
I now have one PC dual core and a laptop Quad core. I love doing this for this great cause, I remember back in 2003 I got a hit and was notified by SETI saying good job and got a certificate. I am currently living in Scranton PA. and am disabled so this is my hobby along with superbike racing, dog training and taking care of my home. In my life so far I have seen 2 UFO's so I know life exists beyond our realm.
I want to Believe. "Fox Mulder"

Live long and prosper.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI because I believe we are not alone in the universe and have seen proof of it "seen 2 UFO's" and I will continue to run SETI as long as I can. I know there are other projects to run but I an concerned with finding life, I also do some work with Galaxy Zoo: Bar Lengths measuring galaxies Bars and spirals and other measurements, no suggestions the BOINC software runs flawlessly on both of my computers
