Hello,
I am a writer of Science-Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror. I am a proud Australian who had always had a fascination with science and the stars. to me, I always felt a sense of sincere awe whenever I look up at the stars and wonder what is out there; contemplating the nature and meaning of life, the universe, and everything. I always felt a sense of hopelessness and sadness to realise that I would never be a scientist and would never be able to be the first to see the stars, or to search for intelligent life in grand and distant galaxies , or to be able to truly understand the universe beyond what little I know and recall from High School Physics and other STEM classes that I found myself struggling in. |

| I had always wanted to empower other scientists to be able to reach the frontiers of their field, advancing humanity in the process of finding new rules of reality, create new models of our universe and gain a better understanding of where we stand in this nigh-endlessly large universe that is constantly expanding, and to find other both like and unlike us, I suppose. I had always felt like a helpless bystander to things, as I will never be able to stand at the frontier of science, and I will never be able to become an astronaut to explore the distant planets, and I do not have the money to contribute and support scientific organisation to keep up the good work most of the time. This is why I was drawn to SETI, I guess, I wanted to make a difference, and I wanted to help, and perhaps someday being able to see the world coming into contact with another intelligent civilisation. The idea both fascinates and empowers me to wonder and speculate, and from there, I had became prone to wondering what life would be like 'out there'...and that led to me writing stories. If only to satisfy my own fantasies of being able to answer my own questions about this beautiful universe. |
