I'm currently (7/15/2001) 34 years old and live in Anchorage, Alaska, where I
do computer and network support for the Alaska Department of Natural Resources.
I enjoy reading, music and trying to find the time to keep up with a 4x4
off-roading habit. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I heard about SETI@Home through Slashdot and decided I liked the idea of non-
profit scientific research. I like the idea of being able to assist in a
research project of this scale and know that I could possibly make a difference.
Is it worthwhile? Will we find anything? I think it's 100% certain that if we
don't look we won't find anything, while if we continue to search we might just
surprise ourselves. |
