Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes I believe that extraterrestrial life exists but how and when we will discover it is a matter of will, determination and most importantly FUNDING. Such a discovery would far exceed the significance of nuclear power. The results of such a discovery would be both revolutionary for the people who can grasp its true significance and disastrous for others who cannot understand the possibilities.
I suspect that some form of mathematical, systematic, and repetitive sequence would capture someone’s attention.
I am glad to contribute a few Watts of power here and there for such an important cause.
