Personal background
I went in a Non Active Reserve Status as of Dec/07. Full time I'm the Emergency Manager for the Port of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to handle to full-time jobs at the same time. Therefore, I've decided to lay low in the military for while. I'm a Captain/MSC (Medical Service Corps) or sometimes know as a Health Services Administrator, AFSC 41A3. I was commissioned in Feb/2001 after serving 19 years 8 months enlisted. My prior service consists of Serving 6 years in the Marine Corps Active Duty, 3072/3073/2111 (Aviation Supply, SUADPS Operator, Armorer), then 2 years as a 30474 (Ground Radio Maintenance) with the 261st Combat Communications, Sepulveda Air National Guard in Van Nuys, CA, then I moved 40 miles north to the 146th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, Channels Islands Air National Guard for 11 years serving both as a 30474 which was changed to 2E173 and also became qualified as a Radio Operator (3C173). That's my main military history in a quick nutshell. Full time, I work for the Port of Los Angeles as the Emergency Manager for the entire Port. Hobbies include Working Out, Harleys, Ham Radio, Computers, and Cruising (Ships). Let's not forget my ham radio call-sign AA6RV. My website is http://www.aa6rv.com
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
As enormous as the universe is, why would we assume that we are the only ones out there? Some Day we will know the truth
