| I'm a computer programmer who lives in Southern California. I'm married with two grown daughters and am a member of the Baha'i Seti Group. For relaxation I collect Napoleonic medals and coins and put them up on my personal website. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
| It would be an awful waste of space if we were all that managed to emerge as intelligent life in this vast universe. Because of that I run Seti@home on all my machines in the hope that I can help locate the pin in the haystack. Besides, I like the idea of a grand collective effort that cleverly uses the otherwise wasted resources of all the computers involved. |
