Thanks VW! Your rigs are just awesome, under construction or not. It was actually your forum post a while back with a title to the effect of "Octo-core GPU cruncher" that got me interested in SETI@Home and crunching applications in general. I was amazed to see people building amazing multi-GPU Sli behemoths for the sole purpose of providing the computing power to SETI and other projects.

Out of curiosity, does the EVGA PCI 1x Power Boost do much to improve card performance? This is the first time I've heard of such a device, I'm quite interested! :D

Damn, some of the rigs here are really impressive! I'm jealous hehe.

Here's my modest rig that I use for gaming and crunching. It's not a multi-GPU monster but it contributes its fair share haha.

I uninstalled my Precision X software a few days ago after I got an RSOD while Precision X was running. I haven't gotten an RSOD since but I know of other people having this terrible issue and I wanted to see if SETI@home would possibly trigger it as well. I don't want to leave my system crunching while I'm at school and come back to an RSOD, y'know? I've been letting SETI run in small under-one-hour sessions since I got my card last Thursday just to see how it behaves. I think I'll man up and try for longer today haha.

Thanks for the responses guys! :D

Hey guys. First time posting here, I'm quite new to SETI@home! I have a question for the GTX 670/680 owners here.

Has SETI@home ever caused your 670/680 cards to exhibit a Red Screen of Death (RSOD) or ANY other odd behavior? I ask because the 670/680s are known for being a tad fussy. I've read my fair share of forum posts on other sites of people getting RSODS and outright failures for god knows what reason. I just want to see what everyone else's experience is like in terms of the reliability of the 670/680s running SETI@home.

Any answers would be much appreciated!

PS. I apologize in advance if this topic has been gone over before!
