(Message 1467643)
Posted 23 Jan 2014 by Gundolf Jahn Post: The file size shows as 0 after download. That can't be the correct size. No wonder that BOINC doesn't accept the files and tries to redownload them. Somehow, you'll have to download the files completely before retrying to run BOINC. Did you download them to a new (empty) directory? Gruß, Gundolf |

Posted 22 Jan 2014 by Gundolf Jahn Post: Check the size and MD5 checksum of the manually downloaded files. Then stop BOINC completely (not only the manager) and set the read-only flag for the picture files after copying them to the project folder. After restarting BOINC, do a project update. (Message 1463012)
Posted 11 Jan 2014 by Gundolf Jahn Post: Indeed, your first 45 downloaded tasks got a download error, but only because of missing .jpg files, which could have been caused by your ISP compressing picture files. However, the last 40 ones seem to have been downloaded successfully. Perhaps the project reset did help. If not, set "Skip image file verification?" to "yes" in your computing preferences. Are any SETI@home tasks downloaded successfully on your computer now? (Status "running", "waiting to run" or "ready to start") Gruß, Gundolf |

If yes, that might be your problem. Try to navigate 'forwards' by using the links on the top/bottom of each page. If not, do you have cookies enabled in your Internet browser? They are needed by BOINC to remember your login details. Gruß Gundolf |

If you want to use only the CPU, you can also revert to BOINC 5.10.45 (last pre rev 6 version).
