i have set it to 10 days longtime ago but it doesnt give me 10 days work

all would been fine though if my main crunchers did download those units in download quece

used this to trowout lunatic from my mainpc, so all back to basic boinc
wich did trew they download list to errorout

when i had zero jobs i checked that pc and the site says it had 1884 task, are that the supposed ghost tasks ?

It's not a server issue- for whatever reason, your system isn't requesting any work.

There is one way it might possibly be a server problem. The preference setting to not use the CPU is sent to the core client and it stops asking for CPU work. Because there have been rare past incidents where preferences changed spontaneously it is at least worth checking.

did check that (al was ok), also changed location of the pc, but stil not getting any cpu

of the 5 pcs i got 1 is not getting cpu atm, its now running backup project einstien cpu files

also went from boinc 56 to 58 but that diddnt help either so i geus i yust have to wait till it gives me some

do got alot gpu though

got troubles with the cpu, not getting much of those, some pc's only have some gpu but no cpu

wel i started last week to look around for other boinc projects

i was pure seti but it has troubles getting enough work out or even get sorted what they ardy recieved so i want some backup projects

i now started milkyway , einstein , gpugrid, rosetta, freehal, wuprop, climate control

when seti get it stuff sorted i proberly set them back onit, as i yust started the new projects its nice to get some work done on there

yust got a few problems, milkyway doesnt like 4 of my 5 cuda cards and gpugrid only likes 2 cudacards, and einstein is yust wasting gpu so turned it off

so kinda wondering whats a nice projects out there that accepts my gpu's

gpt a 260 wich has np, 240 wont runn on milkyway but does on gpugrid
my 210,220 and gf9600 cant do any gpu except seti

also was told about boinc backup projects option, thats to set the share to zero but alot projects dont support that as they dont save the setting, einstein does safe it but somehow resets its lateron

am i dooing it wrong or ?

i did get 9 errors on cuda files in a week, mixed abit over 3 pcs of the 5 i got running

hello

i thought itrowin 2 gpu into my cruncher but now i dont know how i get the 2e to crunch aswel

my main 260 is crunchingh, the 2e card a 240 is not,boinc see it but doesnt use it

neber had 2 x gpu in 1 case so this all new tome

my main cruncher doesnt got any cpu work atall, its atm using the backup einstein to keep crunchingh wich i yust setuped as seti fails to keep my pc crunchingh

wanted to only focus on seti but seems i need to find other projects that are nice to use

atm yust got gpu task from seti

my dual cores did get a couple of cpu workunits but rather had those on my main crunchmachine

i installed the new boinc version, iused the lunitic optimized prog before the instal

is the optimized prog stil working ? or new version automaticly means no optimized prog until i reinstal that1 aswel ?

atm with the new seti rules i dont want a optimized program on any of m pc's, so i hope the new version of boinc kickedout the optimized prog,

dunno were ecxactlythe optimized prog is installed, mayby i yust need to fully uninstal boinc to get ri of it

hello

looking to upgrade my pc with a nvidia card and mayby more mem (got 2 gb atm)

got 5 pcs, all dual core's only 1 with a nvidia that seti see and use (gf9600), on my media pc next to my tv he see my gf9400 but says it has toless mem to use it (card has 512 but seti says 225)

my 5 pc give a rac of 3480 atm when keeping them on for 24 hours, wich my main pc does 1650 of (so not much)

for my main and media pc i want a good card, proberly a gfx 260 for my media and mayby same for main or the new 400 serie's, yust wondering if that worth the mony

so main question is what the rac of the cards, alrdy saw some stats at other thread

GT240 - 5,000
GTS250 - 7,000
GTX260-216 - 12,000

Gt 220 - ?
GTX 470 - ?
Gtx 480 - ?
Gtx 285 - ? wondering why this card cost somuch

also does the manufacter makes much differenace ?

gigabyte has the cheapest gtx 260 i can find, the 470 is same priceclass as others like asus, msi, xfx , evga, zotac

and do i need big powersupply with those cards ? for 470 i asume yes but the 260 ?

when i put 2 cards in 1 pc will they both work on full speed ?
